Industrial Hygiene

Comprehensive Health Services (CHS) provides work site field and facility visits. Our Industrial Hygienists validate work-related health exams, address employee exposure potential, meet regulatory requirements, and ensure protection for work-related hazards. We support the following activities:

  • Industrial Hygiene Exposure Assessments
  • Review and evaluate Employee Job Tasks
  • Worksite Visits
  • Risk Communication

Risk management is a four-step process for controlling exposure to health and safety risks associated with hazards in the workplace. Upon request, we employ a process planning approach to help identify potential workforce heath risks and manage work-related hazards.

This process includes the following steps:

  1. Anticipate Risk
Identify risk hazards and potential harm
  2. Recognize the Risk
    Conduct risk assessment; identify characteristics
  3. Evaluate/Control the Risk
Rank the levels of risk protection/reliability
  4. Review Risk Control Measures
    Review/revise risk counter measures
