Austere Area Support

It’s in our employees’ DNA to help others. That’s why our staff doesn’t shy away from austere or difficult environments.

Comprehensive Health Services understands the unique challenges and risks associated with difficult locations and our medical personnel are experienced in how to operate most effectively in these types of environments. That’s why we are called upon to partner with government clients to plan and provide support for deployed operations in remote, austere, unconventional, and foreign environments. Clients also turn to us to provide a variety of medical services in remote locations in the United States. In fact, we have the ability to mobilize a medical team and have personnel on location quickly, often within 48 hours.

For example, we sent staff in after Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita to provide extensive 24/7 medical support services for one client, including special needs services and prescription fulfillment, and deployed mobile immunization teams for another client.  We sent staff to Haiti after the earthquake in 2010 to provide acute medical care, travel to remote areas to provide medical assessments, respond to medical emergencies, monitor health and safety conditions concerning food and water sources, and coordinate evacuation for individuals with severe and life-threatening medical needs.

If you have a location in which you need medical support services, we can deliver.

Our job is to meet the client's medical needs whatever the conditions.
