VIENNA, VA. –
Dec 9, 2004 – Comprehensive Health Services’
health services director, Jennifer Lim, and the Company’s
corporate medical director, Dr. William Wanago, are
available for expert commentary on the flu vaccine shortage,
including discussing the potential economic implications
of the shortage, the alternatives that are being found
and deployed by employers, and the current CDC guidelines.
Both Dr. Wanago and
Ms. Lim have spoken extensively on occupational health
issues, including this year’s current vaccine
shortage, and are happy to help provide background as
well as commentary on the current status of the flu
vaccine.

Jennifer Lim
Jennifer Lim has over
15 years in Occupational Health Medicine and Emergency
Medicine. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree
in Nursing at San Jose State University, Mobile Intensive
Care Nurse Certification from Stanford University, and
her Masters in Administration at Regis University. She
is a Board Certified Occupational Health Nurse and an
inducted Fellow. Jennifer was responsible for developing
and implementing the Emergency Medical System and Trauma
System for Santa Clara County. Critical Incident Stress
Management was integrated within this system. Jennifer
was a debriefer for the Columbine tragedy, and was in
the command center of a major organization to provide
emotional support to victims of the World Trade Center.
She is a subject matter expert and a recognized national
speaker for on a variety of topics for AAOHN and ACOEM,
and is a published author on Critical Incident Stress
Management, which has been made available by audiotapes.
AAOHN has chosen several of her topics as continuing
educational modules, which were offered to its membership
of occupational and environmental health professionals.
William S. Wanago, M.D.
As Corporate Medical
Director, Dr. Wanago has established a national reputation
in Occupational Health working with a rich diversity
of business, industry and government agencies. Principal
activities involve overseeing development of policy
and practice standards at the corporate level, quality
control, outcomes and performance benchmarking, consulting
and client support services. He has worked with several
Fortune 500 companies implementing programs across single
site, regional and national venues. Dr. Wanago is board
certified in Occupational and Internal Medicine. His
expertise in Preventive and Occupational Medicine was
acknowledged in 1997 upon being awarded the American
College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine’s
(ACOEM) “President’s Award.” He is
the Chair of the examiner’s committee for ACOEM’s
“Corporate Health Achievement Award” –
bestowed annually on companies demonstrating excellence
in Occupational Health performance. He is also Vice-Chair
of the Occupational and Environmental Health Foundation
which provides grants for research and education in
the field of occupational medicine.
