CHS Expands HybridHealthSM and Primary Care Teams with Strategic New Hires
Arun Villivalam and Drew Di Giovanni Join Onsite Management Team
Vienna, VA.
– November 13, 2007 – Comprehensive Health Services (CHS), a nationwide workforce health management company, today announced that Arun Villivalam, M.D., and Drew Di Giovanni, MPH, both experts in areas of physician practice management and clinical quality, have joined CHS’ HybridHealthSM and primary care services onsite management teams. Led by Corporate Medical Director Dr. William Wanago, CHS’ extensive team of clinicians provide a wide range of specialized expertise in the occupational health and primary care arenas of the workforce health industry.
Arun Villivalam, M.D. has joined CHS' medical management team as associate
medical director for its HybridHealth and primary care offerings, as well as
CHS' chief medical information officer. His primary focus at CHS will be to lead the company’s growing team of HybridHealth and primary care clinicians, participate in the leadership of its expanded onsite services, and contribute to the company’s health information initiative.
Most recently, Villivalam was chief medical officer for the North Atlantic division of Cerner Corporation. While there, he helped lead the organization’s strategic vision for clinical and executive leadership at client organizations in the areas of health care transformation. In addition to this, he is board-certified in family practice and has a strong expertise in family practice medical informatics.
Drew Di Giovanni, MPH, FACMPE, is the new director of quality for our onsite operations. This is a newly created function at CHS that is dedicated to implementing a comprehensive total quality management program for clinical, operational and service excellence.
Drew is a nationally recognized industry expert in physician practice management in the areas of operations, billing, quality/patient safety, physician leadership and culture alignment with strategic initiatives. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, most recently at the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Drew is a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
