Comprehensive Health
Services CFO Ned Cooper Named to Sourcing Interests
Group’s Board of Advisors
VIENNA, VA – Aug. 23, 2006
– Comprehensive Health Services (CHS),
a nationwide occupational health and wellness services
company, today announced that Ned Cooper, chief financial
officer, has been named to the Sourcing Interests Group’s
Board of Advisors. Cooper, who has served on CHS’
Board of Directors since 1984, has been active in SIG
for over a decade.
Cooper’s counsel on the SIG Advisory
Board will include helping to guide SIG’s activities
and services to meet the needs of member representatives
who have primary interests in leveraging business process
outsourcing (BPO) and Shared Services as applied to
financial, human resources, administrative services
and IT functions.
Prior to joining CHS as CFO in 2003, Cooper
held numerous executive positions at Lockheed Martin,
including chief information officer, vice president
of operations and program manager. Before that, he held
sales and marketing positions at IBM and was a Captain
in the U.S. Army Signal Corps, serving in Vietnam.
Cooper has been a frequent speaker at
industry and government conferences and also a guest
professor at the University of Central Florida, Stetson
University, and the University of Colorado MBA programs.
He holds a M.S. in decision sciences and a M.B.A in
finance from Georgia State University, as well as a
B.S. in industrial engineering from Georgia Institute
of Technology.
