CHS Adds Pharmacy Capabilities
with New HybridRxSM
Onsite Pharmacy Service Offering Responds to Industry Needs
Vienna, VA.
– June 12, 2007 – Comprehensive Health Services (CHS), a nationwide workforce health management company, today announced it is expanding its worksite health care programs to include onsite pharmacy services for its national corporate and government clients. The new service, called HybridRxSM, is an extension of the company’s successful onsite health care solution, HybridHealthSM, which offers a comprehensive range of health care services for client employees, retirees, and their dependents.
HybridRx provides flexibility to employers interested in addressing pharmaceutical benefits costs, while not disrupting or attempting to replace employers’ existing pharmacy benefit management (PBM) plans. HybridRx currently includes:
- Onsite physician dispensing
- A lean-inventory mini-pharmacy staffed by a full-time or part-time Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) who provides counseling in addition to routine dispensing
In the near future, HybridRx will be expanded to include comprehensive utilization management programs delivered by an onsite Pharm.D. who focuses on appropriate therapies, compliance counseling and physician prescription coordination.
Each of these three programs is designed to be integrated into the employers’ benefit plan and are electronically integrated into the PBM for drug utilization review and patient safety purposes.
