CHS Opens Full-Service Onsite Health Center
Serving BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee’s
New Corporate Campus

RESTON, VA –March 31, 2009 – Comprehensive Health Services, Inc., (CHS), the largest independent national workforce health company, was recently selected to open another of its HybridHealth℠ onsite health centers, this time for BlueCross® BlueShield® of Tennessee (BCBST). The full-service clinic will deliver primary care and other medical services to approximately 4,500 BCBST employees at the company’s new corporate campus.

HybridHealth onsite health centers offer a spectrum of health care services for employees, retirees and their dependents, including onsite primary care, occupational health and more. In addition, these sophisticated CHS-run health centers operate on a completely wireless and paperless multi-functional technology platform that offers highly integrated electronic medical record (EMR) and enterprise practice management (EPM) functionality, as well as predictive modeling, warehousing, data analytics and highly customized reporting.

As Tennessee’s largest health insurer, BCBST is embarking on this new venture to bring health care directly to its workforce at the same time consolidating nine buildings to a new 950,000 sq. ft. corporate campus in downtown Chattanooga, Tenn. CHS’ HybridHealth clinic located on the new campus will focus on promoting health and wellness and provide medical services to address both acute and chronic health conditions. CHS is also partnering with CVS Caremark to provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to employee health with the addition of onsite pharmacy services.
